Blake Hoffer is a 2026 LHP/1B with a 6-5 195 lb. frame from Glenview, IL who attends Glenbrook South. He has an extra tall frame and an athletic build with present strength. Primary left-handed pitcher that uses a small side step to start his delivery and utilizes a knee to belt leg kick. He does a nice job of using his size and working down the mound in line with the plate. He uses a long arm action and fires from a 3/4 slot with a loose shoulder. He has a fluid delivery and showed nice arm speed at release. He is able to consistently repeat his delivery and release point, allowing him to live in the zone with all three of his pitches. He is not afraid to attack hitters with his fastball, working it to both sides of the plate well. His curveball has 1/7 break with nice depth and late breaking action. His changeup has nice fading action through the zone and shows plenty of velocity difference, making it tough to hit. Good student. Named to the 2024 Iowa Indoor Showcase Top Prospect List.
