Jordan Jones is a 2027 3B/RHP/1B with a 5-10 185 lb. frame from Locust Grove, GA who attends Strong Rock Christian School. Strong frame with present physicality in both halves with strength in the torso. Ran a 7.84 60-yard dash. Primary third baseman, methodical actions to the baseball, good process with the two hand gather out front to funnel, clean transfers and throws over to first, profiles better to corner but produced a solid round. Secondary right-handed pitcher, compact delivery with a belt high leg lift, slow paced sequencing to quick exit, leg lift to belt with a full arm swing to three-quarters slot. Fastball touched 77-mph and operated in the mid 70's, cut it some and filled up the zone, landed very solid curveball with 2100 RPM's for strikes at will and also killed spin to 1300 RPM on a diving change. Solid three pitch mix here with an idea to locate. Took reps at first, similar methodical actions here around the bag, good idea out front with the leather and made accurate throws across the diamond. Right-handed hitter, low back elbow and hand set, dips hands into slot for short path to ball, strength plays when extended and on barrel out front, good impact to middle/opposite field at best. Strength is present throughout the body and it shows up in game, intriguing mix on the bump.
