Blake Watters is a 2024 3B/RHP, MIF with a 6-2 180 lb. frame from Corpus Christi, TX who attends London. Features a larger frame with some present strength throughout the build. Ran a 7.24 60-yd dash. In the INF, he showed confident glove actions to both sides displaying it early and out front with a clean funnel and quick exchange. Exhibited proper footwork with avg. speed/quickness that profiles better to the corners. Kept a shorter arm action that got off accurate throws with some easy strength up to 82 mph while also showing the ability to manipulate slot when needed. At the plate, he sits in a relaxed medium base and uses a subtle leg lift trigger. Some rhythm to the load. More of a knob-to-ball path with some quickness to it providing flashes of above avg. bat speed for his level. Head stays down through contact that produced a majority of line drives throughout his round where he stayed gap to gap. On the mound, he has a fluid delivery. Side steps and lifts just above the belt. Slight drop into his driveleg/hip and works down the mound in-line with a shorter stride and decent block. More of hand-lead path out the glove for a longer AA that works to a normal ¾ slot. His fastball worked up to 83 with some downhill plane and flashes of run. Mixed in quality 11-5 breaker that he threw with good intent and it produced some whiff.
