Kyle Bickerstaff is a 2022 LHP/1B/OF with a 5-11 186 lb. frame from Mineral Ridge, OH who attends Mineral Ridge. Medium frame with a stocky, filled out build. Ran a 8.00 second sixty yard dash. Primary Left-Handed Pitcher, working quickly with a belt high leg lift and then releases from a closed off side-arm slot. Very tough angle for left-handed hitters. Proved to tunnel his breaking pitch well and was able to spot up both pitches. Fastball was up to 72 mph as he worked both sides of the dish with it. Breaking ball shows late tilt and was a good pitch. Was able to work it back door and drop it on right-handed hitters' back foot. Secondary First-Baseman, showing some feel for the position fundamentally. Glove plays as he gathers out front and releases from a lower slot on throws. Was accurate to the bag on double plays. Secondary Outfielder, works aggressively into the baseball and gathers to the side. Low arm slot upon release as he looks to carry the baseball all the way to the bag. Right-Handed Hitter, starting from an open, narrow stance with low hands. Linear swing path as he looks to pull the baseball. Was able to generate some pop into the pull-side gap when he got extended. Outstanding Student.
