Dane Vermillion is a 2025 1B/RHP, 3B with a 6-3 210 lb. frame from Milwaukee, WI who attends Wauwatosa East. Primary first baseman with a big strong frame. Moves well around bag for his size. Has quick feet. Hops off bag athletically and has good feel around the bag. Made throws with good accuracy and strength behind them. Has a quick transfer and release with soft hands good for receiving. Ran a 7.76 sixty. Also pitched throwing from a standard 3/4 slot. Gets good extension downhill and has a quick arm. Could locate the fastball well on the outer half and was up to 81. Showed some feel to spin with a curve as well with decent depth. Right-handed hitter with a balanced base and high handset. Uses a small stride for timing. Has a simple swing with good balance. Takes a good path to the ball with a middle of the field approach. Barrel is explosive through the zone and ball jumps off barrel with authority especially to pull. Good student. Named to the TP List.
