Frank Kelch is a 2022 C/RHP with a 6-3 235 lb. frame from Edwards, IL who attends Brimfield. Ran a 7.63-second sixty-yard dash. Primary catcher with a strong frame that has present strength in the lower half. Creeps well behind the plate, moving with some fluidity and repeating the actions well. Has a longer arm action, showcasing present arm strength with throws up to 83 miles per hour to second base. Right-handed hitter that starts from an even stance, showcasing strong hands at contact and shifting well. Shows some big-time jump to the pull-side and swings with intent to drive the baseball. Executes a middle of the field to pull-side approach and put together a strong round of batting practice. Posted a strong, 96 mile per hour exit velocity. Secondary right-handed pitcher that works exclusively from the stretch with a belt high leg lift. Stays slightly flexed at gather, going to drop and drive actions down the mound, Has clean linear direction, getting good extension out front and over the front side. Has some arm speed with a short and compact arm stroke from an over the top slot, pitching up in the zone effectively with a heavy fastball up to 85 miles per hour.
