Carson Hegman is a 2024 SS/RHP, 2B with a 5-10 155 lb. frame from Buford, GA who attends Cherokee Bluff. Lean build. Ran the 60 yard dash in 8.12 seconds. Primary middle infielder, showed the ability to make the plays but is still developing infield actions. Has a tendency to let the ball get deep, displayed young actions that will continue to get better as he gets older. Was clocked up to 66 mph on throws across the diamond. From the mound, throws from a low three-quarter arm slot, only worked from the stretch. The fastball sat 71-73 mph with some arm side run. Pitches backwards, relied on his curveball, showed the ability to commanded it well low in the zone. At the plate, hits from a wide stance with a rock back load. Displayed a short quick swing, consistently hitting the ball up the middle. Great student.
