Jaxon Brent is a 2026 C/RHP, SS with a 4-11 125 lb. frame from Celina, TX who attends Celina. Young, square shouldered frame with a lean build and room to grow and develop moving forward. Ran a 9.33 60-yard dash. Primary catcher, begins with a lower set behind the plate, long arm action coming out of transfer, receives the ball out front with two hands, shorter stride with lower half coming out of crouch, worked around the bag with throws, arm strength and carry will continue to develop. Also pitched, simple and methodical delivery, leg lift up to belt; medium arm circle through the back working to a high three-quarters release point, fastball topped out at 61 mph, mostly true in life and flashed a curveball up to 53 mph. Right-handed hitter, begins with an open stance and a high hand set and back elbow at the plate; utilizes a leg lift trigger for timing at the plate. Shows a sound approach at the plate, works on a linear path with a short finish through point of contact. Comfort working to the middle of the field, has a feel for the barrel with some extension out front, bat speed will continue to develop with added strength and continued incorporation of lower half.
