Collin Haney is a 2025 OF/RHP, 3B, SS with a 6-0 160 lb. frame from Columbia, MS who attends Columbia. Medium, athletic frame with square shoulders and some present strength on build, additional room to fill moving forward. Ran a 7.55 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, fields the ball out to side on the approach, shows sound footwork coming through the ball and working into a quick release, accurate throws to the base with some present strength, will continue to improve nicely with added strength. Shorter steps moving towards the ball in the infield, fields it out front with two hands, comes through the ball and shows arm strength across the diamond, young footwork in actions. Also pitched, begins with a side step at start of delivery, online drive and smooth delivery overall with some drop and drive to lower half mechanics; medium arm action through the back working to a high three-quarters release point. Fastball topped out at 78 mph with some late running life when located to arm side while curveball shows 12-6 shape with some late biting action while showing the ability to land in the zone up to 69 mph. Right-handed hitter, begins with a stall stance in the box and utilizes a shorter stride moving into contact. Strength in hands plays and shows present bat speed through the zone, can incorporate additional lower half in swing. Works the gaps and stays on a mostly linear path with occasional lift out front, handles the barrel well. Excellent student.
