Justin Deppiesse is a 2022 RHP/OF with a 5-11 185 lb. frame from Redwood City, CA who attends Bellarmine College Prep. Medium athletic build with the beginnings of some young strength, especially in his lower half. Simple turn and throw delivery from a crouched start that costs him angle to the plate, compact arm action from an over the top arm slot. Mid-70's fastball, topped at 77 mph and showed good late running life, was comfortable going inside to right handed hitters and had success doing it. Gets on top of his curveball well with 11/5 shape and some feel for the zone with it. Straight change up. Commands the zone well and challenged hitters early in the count with an idea how to pitch. 7.29 runner who showed good athleticism coming off the mound. Right handed hitter, leans back to start his swing, long and loose swing with some barrel control. Young actions in the outfield. Good student.
