Ryan Deal is a 2020 SS/2B, 3B with a 5-11 165 lb. frame from Flourtown, PA who attends Springfield Twp. Medium frame with a lean build. Frame projects to support additional strength. Primary shortstop with good lateral range while moving to and surrounding the baseball. Displayed soft hands while funneling that baseball and worked through exchange efficiently. Generated softer, accurate carry across the infield topping at 70 miles per hour. Right handed hitter with an upright, open stance and large leg lift trigger. Works to contact with rotational lower half actions. Utilized an inside hand path to baseball while employing a line drive barrel plane through extension. Primarily looked to turn the barrel aggressively and work to the middle of the field and pull side gap. Good student as well.
