2022 Northeast Prospect Showcase (Tues-Wed)
Colin Flynn is a 2023 OF/SS, MIF with a 5-10 165 lb. frame from Dorchester, MA who attends Boston Collegiate Charter. Medium, high waisted frame with long levers and some quick twitch athleticism. Recorded a 7.02 second sixty-yard dash time. Primary outfielder with long, fluid strides into the fielding process, some bounce in his steps and a clean gather off his front foot. Aggressive footwork into it, maintains momentum into release and exhibits a quick release. Recorded online, accurate throws up to 82 mph during drills. Right-handed hitter that hits from spread stance with a high hand set, high back elbow and leg lift trigger. Contact oriented stroke with rotational lower half mechanics and developing feel for the barrel. Displayed ability to use the middle-of-the field effectively with best line drive impact coming to the left centerfield gap. Will continue to improve with proper swing adjustments and additional strength. Named to the 2022 Northeast Prospect Showcase Top Prospect List.
