Landen Dougherty is a 2028 OF/RHP with a 5-8 128 lb. frame from Legrand, IA who attends East Marshall. He has a medium frame with a slender body and plenty of room to fill physically. Ran the 40-Yard Dash in 5.55 seconds. Primary outfielder that attacks the ball and fields it in the middle of his body. He smothers the ball with two hands and showed clean transfers to this throwing hand. He has an uphill throwing motion and showed solid accuracy to the bases. Left-handed hitter that starts in an even stance with a high back elbow and low hands. He has a big load and uses a leg lift trigger for timing. He is direct to the ball with his swing path and is rotational through the zone. He does a nice job of letting the ball travel deep into the hitting zone and will continue to add power as he engages his lower half in his swing. Good student.
