Connor Parker is a 2027 LHP/OF with a 6-2 180 lb. frame from Bloomington, IN who attends Bloomington South. Primary LHP with a lean and athletic frame. Throws from the stretch with a crossfire type delivery from a standard 3/4 slot. Takes a longer stride down the mound with good upper body rotation to create velo. Fastball worked up to 80 with some sink to it and played heavy. Went to a breaking ball with more slurvy shape and breaks across the zone. Has a unique arm that creates tough angles and should be effective from the left side. Projectable off the bump. Also played outfield working through the ball wall. Athletic mover with quick feet. Fielded it cleanly out in front off his front leg and maintains good momentum through the ball charging with intent. Showed good hands and clean arm action. Ball came out free and easy with good accuracy and strength behind his throws. Also ran a 7.00 sixty. Right-handed hitter with a narrow base. Has a rhythmic swing with a front foot stride and toe tap for timing. Transfer the weight well. Really coils himself on the load. Could go with the ball well the other way and was also able to turn on it with authority at times. Got on the barrel more and more as his round went on. Excellent student.
