Jordan Grier is a 2024 SS/2B/OF with a 5-6 152 lb. frame from Hemingway, SC who attends Carvers Bay. Medium frame with some present muscularity and twitch to his actions. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.48 seconds. Primary position IF, moving smoothly on his feet through his angles and plays. Firm glove work presented out front working fingers through the ball. Two-step process making plays, using longer arm action to release. Throws across the diamond up to 72 mph with emerging accuracy and carry. Switch hitter. From the right side, works from an even stance with good handset putting the barrel in good position to launch. Small trigger working inside the ball producing nice line drive contact. From the left side, uses same even stance with more quiet mechanics almost working from a standstill. Pull oriented approach and runs himself out of barrel occasionally. Pretty good bat head feel from both sides and should sustain both side for the duration of career. Outstanding student as well.
