Anthony Bogdan is a 2027 C/OF, UT with a 5-9 135 lb. frame from Lovettsville, VA who attends Woodgrove. Medium frame with good projection. Emerging strength and overall athleticism with a ton of time to add in the future. Primary position C, starting from a square stance and sitting nicely into his base. Very game like actions in reps which is refreshing. Replaces feet well on his throws, squaring up to the target. Solid midline transfer and works through a 3/4 angle on feeds. Accurate for the most part with a pop time best of 2.44 with velocity of 65 mph. Reps in outfield and infield with basic actions and making the plays. Throws were a bit scattered here, reaching 69 mph from the field. RHP too, working from the stretch only. Stationary hands at the belt into a very deep inline path. Gets down the mound alright with a stride a bit across the midline. 3/4 arm angle building a FB up to 68 mph with sinking action. CB is secondary bigger pitch with mostly vertical tumble in the upper-50s. Threw strikes for the most part. RHH starting from a narrow and upright stance. High handset and high back elbow to load. A bit of a rotational operation, casting hands at times. When on time and on the ball showed best contact to the oppo field. Gets barrel on plane fine and will show power with maturity and growth. Very good student.
