Luciano Terrero is a 2027 RHP/MIF, OF with a 6-0 140 lb. frame from Darien, CT who attends Darien. Medium, square shouldered frame with a high waist and long limbs, room to fill throughout moving forward. Ran a 9.21 60-yard dash. Primary right-handed pitcher, deliberate tempo to windup, leg lift up past belt, shorter arm action through the back with an extended three-quarters release; tends to open front side early coming down the mound, arm speed will continue to develop with added physical strength gains. Pitched to contact, short life when on top of the ball, fastball topped out at 58 mph, shorter stride down the mound and lands closed with strike foot; flashed a curveball up to 52 mph with developing spin. Fields the ball out front in the infield, young footwork, long arm action through the backside but shortens through release, arm strength and carry on throws will continue to develop, plays tall through the ball. Right-handed hitter, begins with a high hand set and back elbow at the plate with a bent knee stance; timing components to swing operation. Works on a linear path through the zone, comfort working to the pull side, high finish through the point of contact. Best contact when on a linear path, occasionally gets downward, contact oriented swing and bat speed will continue to improve with added physical strength.
