Gavin McPherson is a 2026 2B with a 5-9 140 lb. frame from Lubbock, TX who attends Lubbock-Cooper Liberty High School. Recorded a 6.74 60-yard dash. Primary infielder with a lean frame. Employs methodical and deliberate actions in the infield. Made the plays and used a long arm action through the back. Clean glovework and threw across the diamond accurately. Left-handed hitter and utilizes a rotational stroke. Showed a pull side approach during the round, producing liners. Repeats swing mechanics well and has good feel for the barrel. Excellent student.
