Antonio Chavez is a 2027 SS/RHP with a 5-9 165 lb. frame from San Jose, CA who attends Valley Christian Schools. Medium size frame. Ran a 7.45 60-yard dash. Primary middle infielder with efficient footwork to the baseball, softer hands with glove actions, developing lateral range and an accurate throwing arm up to 79 across the diamond. Hit from a wide stance with a simple weight shift, inside out swings with some developing ability to turn the barrel over, showed natural strength to the swing to impact the baseball with developing swing mechanics. Showed the stuff to pitch to contact on the mound, fastball up to 78 with arm side run and a low 60's curve. Change speeds and eye levels to get outs effectively in game.
