Dakota Locklear is a 2028 RHP/OF with a 6-1 145 lb. frame from Pembroke, NC who attends Purnell Swett. Good frame with long, lean muscularity and plenty of room to fill out especially for his class. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.37 seconds. Primary position RHP but took reps in the OF in this event. Athletic actions here with more refinement ahead of him. Works the glove off to the side and squares well after midline transfer. Arm works, using full inline path to accurate feeds up to 75 mph to the infield. Twitchy actions here and will really develop with time and reps. RHH working from a wide stance and in his base using a bigger leg lift pre-pitch to get moving. High back elbow to a segmented swing path. Emerging barrel accuracy and power will start to play with added physicality in the coming months. Rangy athlete with plenty of potential.
