Bashir Tawfeeq is a 2025 OF with a 5-7 130 lb. frame from Wyndmoor, PA who attends Springfield Twp. Young, square shouldered frame with a lean build and room to fill throughout moving forward. Ran a 7.42 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, comes and gets the ball well on the approach, extra step moving into release, deeper funnel but remains aggressive through the ball, arm strength and carry will continue to develop on throws, longer arm action through back. Left-handed hitter, begins with an even and balance set up at the plate with a tight hand set and low back elbow. Utilizes a short leg lift trigger for timing in the box, works on a linear path through the zone. Occasionally gets downward with path, handsy stroke and can continue to implement additional lower half into process, stays compact and creates some line drive contact when on time and squared up. Very good student.
