Graedon Finarelli is a 2023 3B/RHP with a 6-2 175 lb. frame from Dallas, PA who attends Lake-Lehman. Large, broad shouldered frame with present strength to frame and additional room to fill throughout. Ran a 7.68 60-yard dash. Primary third baseman, fields the ball out front, developing footwork with longer strides to the ball, upper body dominant swing working into a compact arm action, shows carry on throws across the diamond when working on top of the ball. Also pitched, side step moving leg lift up past belt, gathers tall on backside; full arm action through the back and hides the ball while working to a high three-quarters release point. Clean mechanics, longer stride down the mound and lands closed; generates plane to fastball with occasional running life up to 76 mph. Shows a feel for curveball with 12-6 shape up to 61 mph and able to land it for strikes with tight spin. Righthanded hitter, begins with an open set and a high hand set and back elbow at the plate; loads hands back at start of swing, upper body dominant mechanics. Swung that bat well in live action, short path to the ball with occasional lift and shows jump coming off when squared. Worked to the middle and pull side parts of the field, occasionally gets to front side early with shift. Very good student.
