2023 Top Prospects

Dysan McCray  2B - 2023 - Decatur, GA
Uncommitted

McCray is an unsigned senior with plenty of quick twitch athleticism and tools to develop. His best present tool is his right-handed swing and bat speed on offense.

2024 Top Prospects

Ryan Schwartz  C - 2024 - Indian Trail, NC
Texas

Schwartz pretty much did everything at this workout, showing outstanding raw bat speed, on of the strongest throwing arms behind the plate that this scout has seen in a while and also running a 6.79 sixty, especially impressive for a 6-3/205 catcher.

Mitch Wilson  C - 2024 - Pauline, SC
North Carolina

Wilson showed advanced skills on defense with a strong arm and solid foot work. He has tons of strength in his right handed swing with the chance to keep improving offensively with some adjustments.

Lucca Pascarella  C - 2024 - Fayetteville, NC
Lenoir-Rhyne

Pascarella has a strong 6-0/190 build and some next level tools both offensively and defensively. His right-handed swing should especially translate well to a faster game.

Cameron Turner  1B - 2024 - Richlands, NC
University of North Carolina-Charlotte

Turner has good athleticism for a big young man but it's going to be his bat that determines how high he's going to be able to play. He has a well balanced approach with strength to all fields.

2025 Top Prospects

Macon Leppert  C - 2025 - Blythewood, SC
Uncommitted

Leppert has a nice combination of defensive and offensive tools and lots of room to add strength to his 6-2/165 build. He looks ready to take a jump as a prospect.

2027 Top Prospects

Jackson Brooks  3B - 2027 - Wilminton, NC

Brooks was impressive on both sides of the ball, driving the ball with solid young bat speed and turning in a good round in the infield. He also caught and might have a future behind the plate as well.

Harrison Mears  SS - 2027 - Southport, NC

Mears is a versatile defensive player who showed skills and tools across three positions in the drills. He's also a 6.97 runner, impressive speed for someone who has yet to get to high school.

Caden Borcherding  C - 2027 - Acworth, GA

Borcherding has a big and strong 6-0/160 build and compact and sound defensive actions behind the plate. His right-handed swing has plenty of power potential.

2028 Top Prospects

Julian Martinez  C - 2028 - New York, NY

Martinez did lots of things well at the workout but his catching drill for a 2028 was superlative. He has easy and polished actions behind the plate and really stood out.

Trendyn Motley  OF - 2028 - Huntersville, NC

Motley has a very projectable and athletic 6-0/147 build and two solid present tools in his left handed bat speed and his strong outfield throwing arm. He certainly looks the part of the young prospect.

Isaiah Cador  2B - 2028 - McDonough, GA

Cador has outstanding speed for a 2028 at 6.75 and uses that speed and athleticism very well in the middle infield. This type of quick twitch athleticism should really develop over the next several years.

Madden Pike  C - 2028 - Puyallup, WA

Pike's older brother Mason was a 2021 PG 14U Select Festival athlete and his younger brother is following the same path it looks like, with an impressive young set of tools across the board.

Brandon Toadvine  LHP - 2028 - Rhodesdale, MD

Toadvine is a primary left-handed pitcher and, of course, didn't throw off the mound at this workout showcase but his arm talent and overall athleticism was very obvious watching him take drills.

Hudson Simmons  OF - 2028 - Charlotte, NC

Simmons most impressive tool was his left handed bat. He has a very smooth and loose swing with the beginnings of some present bat speed and plenty more to come.

Derek Vazquez  SS - 2028 - Charlotte, NC

Vazquez has very good strength for a 2028 and looks bigger and stronger than his 5-10/147 listed size. He's going to have plenty of right handed power in the future.

Arnav Vega  OF - 2028 - New Milford, NJ

Vega has some strength in his compact 5-6/145 build and he uses that strength well to create bat speed and impact ability at the plate. He was solid defensively both in the infield and outfield with good arm strength.
