2024 Top Prospects

John D Mitchell  RHP - 2024 - Cypress, TX
Air Force

Mitchell may have been the top prospect from the entire event. 6-foot-1 right-hander showcased himself as a legit prospect on the mound. Fastball up to 90 mph from a higher slot as he pounded the zone upper-80's. Spin rates peaking just over 2,500 rpm. Two plus breaking balls. Vertical curveball in the upper-70's with spin up to 2642 rpm. Slider in mid-80's with tilt, spin nearing 2,700 rpm. Commanded the zone and dominated while doing so.

Henry Stewart  C - 2024 - Springfield, VA
Richard Bland College of William & Mary

Stewart stands out from a physical standpoint at 6-foot-2 195 pounds. Swung it with authority in the box, attacking the baseball. Drove it deep to the middle part of the field and flashed the power. Was also dependable behind the dish. Recorded a pop time of 2.07 seconds during drills.


2025 Top Prospects

Liam Jones  RHP - 2025 - Alexandria, VA
Uncommitted

Jones really impressed on the hill. Simple operation on the hill dropping and driving. Whip to the arm running the fastball up to 87 mph. Slider in upper-70s's with spin around 2,200 rpm. Rounded arsenal off with good changeup, killing the spin down to 1688 rpm.

Von Pelow  C - 2025 - Kannapolis, NC

Pelow is a solid hitting catcher. Receives the baseball well, mature feel for anticipating the spot. Recorded a pop time of 2.04 seconds with accurate throws. Middle of the field power showing during batting practice and ripped one back up the middle during live at-bats. Exit velocity of 87 mph.

Carson Allen  1B - 2025 - Midlothian, VA

Allen had a strong showing in the box. Fluid left-handed stroke as he goes after it with intent. Found a loud barrel during live at-bats. Glove also plays over at first base.


2026 Top Prospects

Jack McKellar  C - 2026 - Rocky Mount, NC
Uncommitted

McKellar flashed massive power at the dish out of the left-handed swing. Drove it deep to the pull-side and made it look easy. Also a solid defensive catcher. Pop time of 2.08 seconds during drills.

Hunter Reed  OF - 2026 - Point Of Rocks, MD

Reed proved to be solid during workouts while also having feel in the box during live at-bats. Simple approach in the box getting the foot down early and let the hands work. Drove it on a line to all fields. Exit velocity of 86 mph. Athleticism also showed in the outfield. Throws up to 80 mph with carry.

Ian Fournier  OF - 2026 - Gainesville, VA

Fournier found some loud barrels in the box. Gets the bat head through the zone and impacts with some thump. Power projection showing. Also was up to 83 mph with throws from the outfield during drills.


2027 Top Prospects

Gavin Pelow  C - 2027 - Kannapolis, NC

Pelow is a solid all-around ball player. Versatile as we saw him workout at multiple positions. Clean actions behind the dish with good hands. Recorded a pop time of 2.26 seconds. High end bat speed for the age present. Fires the hands through as the baseball jumps off the barrel. Real upside here to be a power hitting catcher down the road.

Connor Christiansen  SS - 2027 - Fishers, IN

Christiansen proved to be a legit two-way player. Real solid defensively during infield work. Scooped it up with ease and was accurate with throws. Middle infield skill set to stick here long term. Mature approach in the box looking to drive it gap to gap. Ripped one into the right-center gap during live at-bats. Pounded the strike zone on the mound with a mid-70's fastball. Feel to spin a vertical breaking ball in mid-60's as well.

Andrew Bezak  OF - 2027 - Fulton, MD

Bezak proved to have a good arm in the outfield while also swinging it well in the box. Throws up to 80 mph from the outfield while keeping them down. Goes after the baseball with a purpose in the box. Proved he could spray it on a line to all fields.

Mark Williams Jr.  3B - 2027 - Indian Head, MD

Williams Jr. sports an athletic build standing at 6-foot-1. Naturally lofted stroke in the box with a fluid cut from the left-handed stick. Matches plane well and drives it with backspin. Will leverage the baseball and drive it a long way to the pull-side.

Quinn Peck  1B - 2027 - Bristow, VA

Peck fills the roll of a power hitting corner infielder well. Sprayed it on a line during batting practice before flashing the power during live at-bats. Exit velocity of 87 mph.

Alexander “Sasha” Quigley-Skillin  1B - 2027 - Stafford, VA

Quigley-Skillin is physical mature for the age and it shows in his game. Found some really loud barrels during batting practice. Power to middle of the field present. Also into the mid-70's on the mound. Showed off the arm strength. Projectable frame.
