13/14u GA State Champ. Scout Notes

Will Downing (2027, Peachtree City, Ga.)- the 6-foot, 170-pound right-handed pitcher for Fca Newnan Naturals went six strong innings for the win against CBA 14U Georgia. He allowed only no runs on one hit with nine strikeouts in the 7-0 victory. Downing ran the fastball up to 80 mph while sitting in the upper-70s and featured a breaking ball in the 64-66 mph range. A great performance from Downing who has shown an uptick in velocity during the Spring, while also adding four hits in seven at-bats as a secondary right-handed hitting first baseman on the weekend.

Ryan Trout (2027, Bogart, Ga.)- the 5-foot-11, 145-pound right-handed pitcher punched out 10 batters over six strong innings in a start for Devine Baseball 14u. Trout took the ball in Round 1 Gold Playoffs agai
