Ryan Trout is a 2027 RHP/SS with a 6-1 171 lb. frame from Bogart, GA who attends North Oconee. Lean athletic build with lots of room to get stronger. Hands over head mechanics with rhythmic delivery from the first base side of the rubber. Belt-high lift with shorter arm swing to high 3/4 slot working inline down the slope. Athletic delivery with repeatable actions and foundation to make strides with projectable frame. Secondary shortstop with solid footwork and coordination on the dirt. Hands work to both sides with enough arm for the left side. Worked in the outfield with a one-hand gather to exchange. Carries his weight on throws to the bases up to 90 mph. Right-handed hitter with a slightly open narrow stance. Knee-lift trigger with some barrel whip through the zone. Impact out front with pull side strength. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
