Ethan Akins ('31, Brooklet, Ga.) #7 Royal - the right-handed hitter went 3-for-4 in the 7-4 Royal win. The primary third baseman singled twice and doubled to drive in a run with a run scored.

Noah McDowell ('30, Hillsborough, N.C.) #12 Royal - the 6-foot-1, 165-pound right-handed hitter doubled twice and drove in a pair of runs. A primary outfielder, McDowell displayed advanced tools on both sides of the ball with speed on defense and strength in the box.

Makye Washington ('31, Evans, Ga.) #8-Maroon - a right-handed hitting third baseman, Washington singled twice in three at-bats. He drove in a run and stole three bases on his way to scoring another run in the loss.

Michael Ferrell ('31, Cary, N.C.) #3-Maroon- the right-handed hitter went 2-for-3 for Team Maroon. A primary outfielder, Ferrell showed his athleticism and versatility in the field with a couple nice defensive plays at shortstop.

Bentley Mills ('30, Woodstock, Ga.) #4-Royal - went 2-for-4 with a run batted in and run scored. The left-handed hitting middle infielder displayed a feel for the barrel using the middle of the field. Mills also tossed two scoreless with three strikeouts as a secondary right-handed pitcher.

Trip Fowler ('30, Florence, Ala.) #11-Maroon - the 5-foot-8, 138-pound left-handed hitter doubled in three at-bats. The primary left-handed outfielder also scored a run for Team Maroon.

Bryson Sermons ('31, Hahira, Ga.) #6-Royal - the 5-foot-11, 165-pound right-handed hitter went 2-for-4 with a pair of extra-base hits. A primary first baseman, Sermons doubled and drilled one into centerfield for an inside-the-park homerun in his four plate appearances.

Bentlee Hogan ('31, Commerce, Ga.) #13-Royal - the right-handed hitter doubled in three at-bats and finished 2-for-3 in the win. The primary backstop displayed barrel control and strength through the zone.

Tatum Drew (2030 C, Winston Salem, NC) had an all around fantastic day and the dish, displaying an elite hit tool for his age. Drew sprayed the ball to all parts making the loudest contact of the morning in his first AB with a ringing inside-the-park HR into the L-CF gap. He added to his tally in his final AB shooting a 3B to the opposite field. Great feel for consistently being on the barrel of the bat and did it while swinging wood.

Angel Herrera (2030 SS, Lawrenceville, GA) launched a 3B over the LF head in his final AB, creating good leverage throughout the swing path. Simple approach with some quickness in the hands.

Barret Schell (2031 C, Powder Springs, GA) displayed impressive two-way ability in this morning's contest. Got the start on the mound and ran the FB up to 76, maintaining velocity in the mid-70s throughout his 2 innings of work. Schnell also was perfect in the batters box going 3-3 in this one.

Michael Ferrell (2031 OF, Cary, NC) stayed on the barrel in this one, hitting the ball hard consistently. Laced a ball past the RF in this first AB that rolled to the wall. This was followed up by a hard hit base hit through the left-side of the infield in his 2nd AB.

Trace Stickler (2031 RHP, Bolingbroke, GA) put together a solid at bat in the second, pulling one down the line in left for a double. Waited just long enough on the inside pitch, and got the barrel to it for an RBI. 

Kamden Wilkerson (2030 OF, Wrightsville, GA) had a solid piece of hitting here in the bottom half of the second, sending one hard into right for a triple. Wilkerson got the inside pitch, and was able to handle it and get a job done for an RBI. 

Cesar Mendoza (2030 OF, Auburn, GA) got a hold of one in the top of the 3rd for solo homer. Mendoza has a simple swing with impressive juice to the pull side for his age, and he didn't miss this one. 

Jackson Farley (2031 C, Covington, GA) showed off some impressive power in the top of the third for a triple. Farley works a simple swing with some solid bat speed, and he exploded on one to dead center. 

Elijah Taylor (2030 3B, Chapel Hill, NC) showed off some impressive strength and barrel control in this one, lining one into the gap and one hopping the wall for a triple. 

Guy Henry (2030 2B, Greenville, SC) showed off some impressive strength into the pull side gap for a triple. Henry works a smooth swing with some strength to both gaps, and he got a hold of this one. Henry also added another extra base hit, sending an inside the park homer into the right center gap for a triple. 

Barret Schell (2031 C, Powder Springs, GA) came up big for his squad, sending one into left for a double. Schell worked through the fastball well, piking up an RBI. 

Kingston Dumes (2030 1B, Indianapolis, IN) showed off some impressive power into the right center gap for a triple. Dumes has an intriguing power profile and certainly showed it in this swing.
