Daniel Phillips (2026 1B, Brownsburg, IN) impressed during his round of BP using the lower half well and getting consistent harder contact. The left-handed hitter used a flat bat plane with jump and carry to the pull-side and middle-of-the-field.
Jake Trask (2027 RHP, New Minas, NS) showed good bat speed and barrel whip during his round of BP. The right-handed hitter worked slightly uphill through contact and getting through the backside well with some strength and juice to the pull-side and the middle-of-the-field.
Colton Temple (2027 C, McDonald, PA) used an uphill bat plane with some bat speed and strength in the hands. The left-handed hitter created lift well in the swing and peppered the middle-of-the-field well with some carry in the air to the pull-side.
Caleb Binder (2027 SS, West Chester, OH) showed good upside in the box with some directness to the hand path and got jump off the barrel. The right-handed hitter worked the pull-side well with some hard line drives.
Gavin Smith (2027 C, Toledo, OH) stayed compact to the ball well with strength in the frame. The right-handed hitter used a flat bat plane with impact off the barrel and hard line drives to the pull-side and middle-of-the-field.
Jack Nolan (2027 SS, Florence, KY) showed quick hands and worked uphill through contact. The left-handed showed good strength in the frame with pull-side line drives and some jump off barrel with carry when he lifted it.
Peyton Mcelfresh (2026 C, Commerical Point, OH) showed some feel to leverage and lift to the pull-side with some carry. The right-handed hitter worked the backside well with line drive oriented contact.
Bryan Yaecker (2027 C, Cincinnati, OH) showed some strength at contact with a strong lower half for juice off the barrel. The right-handed hitter was on the barrel consistently with a rotational swing path and works slightly uphill through contact.
Colton Longoria (2028 SS, Grove City, OH) worked slightly uphill through contact and used the legs well and got the barrel out front. The right-handed hitter showed some feel for the barrel and to lift the ball with line drives to the middle-of-the-field and to the pull-side.
Max Sutch (2030 LHP, Warren, OH) showed some feel to get on plane and leverages for lift at contact. The right-handed hitter showed some juice to the pull-side with a linear lower half.
