Karson Sample (2029 OF, Longs, SC) doubles down the left field line on a barreled up fastball. The right-handed hitter got the barrel out front and placed it well right down the line. 

Joseph Miranda (2029 OF, Villa Rica, GA) impressed on the mound during his outing. He ran the fastball up to 76 (1825 RPM) and showed some arm-side run. Paired it well with a upper-50s curveball (1884 RPM). Mixed them well and was bale to prevent louder contact. Followed it up with a loud knock to the pull-side gap. 

Jaxon Thompson (2029 1B, Chapmanville, WV) drops a single into the opposite field grass for a base knock. The right-handed hitter keeps the weight back well through the swing with some extension through contact. 

Wyatt Benfield (2029 2B, Kings Mountain, NC) uses a nice piece of hitting to work backside for a double towards the right-field line to drive in an RBI. The right-handed hitter uses a flatter bat plane and shows some upside on using the whole field.

Keaton Larsen (2029 MIF, Southern Pines, NC) got the game started on the mound running the fastball up to 79 (2136 RPM) and paired it with a upper 60s curveball (2639 RPM) and a low-70s slider (2558 RPM). In the box, the right-handed hitter continued the hot hitting collecting another knock on a solid line drive single into left field. 

Avery Cooney (2029 C, Chapel Hill, NC) worked a knock to the backside right field on a curveball. Did well keeping the hands back and getting on-time for the breaker. The right-handed hitter uses an uphill swing plane and showed some feel to create lift. 

Courtenay Bryce Whitman (2029 3B, Fayetteville, NC) let the ball travel before getting the barrel on a fastball and sent it down the opposite field line for extra bases. The right-handed hitter created solid contact with a rotational swing and some bat speed with a short stroke. 

Lane Bray (2029 SS, Cleveland, GA) was consistently on the barrel all game collecting two hits, including hits to right field and a solid loud knock to the pull-side left field. The right-handed hitter showed off the bat-to-ball skills with solid bat speed.

Michael Marelli (2029 OF, Charlotte, NC) showed off the two way game adding a knock to the pull-side right field, showed some carry to the pull-side with a slightly uphill bat plane. On the mound, he ran the fastball up to 76 (1796 RPM) and was consistently locating in the strike zone. 

Jeremiah McConnell (2030 C, Charlotte, NC) showed off the bat-to-ball skills during the game collecting two hits with a pull-side single. In his second at-bat, got into one for a loud barrel to center field for a double to plate two RBI. 

Mason Pennell (2029 OF, Troutman, NC) showed some two-way upside during game action collecting two hits at the plate, including a pull-side triple to deep left field. Followed it up with an opposite field knock in his second at-bat. The right-handed pitcher ran the fastball up to 72 (1462 RPM). 

Owen Harris (2029 C, Holly Springs, NC) scattered the zone with a fastball up to 77 (1963 RPM) and showed some feel for his mid-60s (1645 RPM) and two-plane break. The right-handed pitcher showed some skill and feel on the mound with good upside on the mound.  

Tyler Smith (2029 RHP, Augusta, GA) collected a knock back up-the-middle on a fastball. Was consistently able to get on time with some strength at contact. The right-handed hitter used a flatter bat plane and was direct to the ball with the hands. 

Brysten Spencer (2030 C, Gaffney, SC) showed the two-way game on the mound running the fastball up to 79 (2130 RPM) that he paired with a slider (1838 RPM) and a change-up (1258 RPM). In the box jumped the first pitch for a pull-side knock, showed some feel to get the bat head out front and create impact.

Owen Todd (2029 LHP, Southern Pines, NC) ran the fastball up to 81 (2189 RPM) and paired it well with an upper 60s curveball (2195 RPM) that works well against left-handed batters. The left-handed pitcher used a super easy operation with easy jump out of the hand. 

Keaton Larsen (2029 MIF, Southern Pines, NC) continued the hot day adding a knock in game two. The right-handed hitter showed solid feel to lift with a hard turn and some extension out front to create louder contact. 

Karsen Dodd (2029 SS, Charlotte, NC) continued to show the bat-to-ball skills and the feel to impact the ball collecting another hit this time to the opposite field. Competed well in his at-bats and repeats the swing well and stayed in-sync with some impact off the barrel. 

Landon Blackard (2029 C, Burlington, NC) got the barrel around and hit a hard line drive to the pull-side for a triple. The left-handed hitter used a flat bat plane with some feel to lift and drive the ball.

Karsen Dodd (2029 SS, Charlotte, NC) got the game started on a loud note with a loud double into left field. Followed it up in his second at-bat with another barrel back into center field for a hard out. Poised in the box with solid feel for the barrel. 

Keaton Larsen (2029 MIF, Southern Pines, NC) showed off his two-way game throwing a runner out at home plate with a solid two-hop throw from left field. In his second at-bat showed the ability to impact and drive the ball with a deep lofted drive to deep center field for a loud, barreled up out. 

Brayden Schwantz (2029 RHP, Daniel Island, SC) put on a clinic on both sides of the ball. On the mound, he ran the fastball up to 81 (2037 RPM) that he paired with a mid-70s slider (1977 RPM) and a change-up (1876 RPM). At the plate, he leveraged a fastball out over the plate for a line drive to the opposite field for a knock. 

Wright Rogers (2030 SS, Wilmington, NC) showed off the bat-to-ball skills during the first game adding two knocks. Used a direct hand path and got on time well to add a single up-the-middle in his first at-bat and added an opposite field knock his second plate appearance. 

Michael Marelli (2029 OF, Charlotte, NC) went down and got the barrel on a down and in upper 70s fastball and smoked it up the middle for a knock. The left-handed hitter was poised in the box and showed some feel for the barrel. Creates separation in the back shoulder before using a slightly uphill bat plane to get the barrel on the ball.

Batting Practice Highlights

Aiden Bodison (2030 SS, Duncan, SC) showed quick hands in the swing and hit solid line drives to all fields with some carry to the middle-of-the-field. The right-handed hitter starts from a wider base and used a flat bat plane. 

 

Tucker Nall (2030 SS, Spartanburg, SC) used a flatter bat plane with good lift at contact with some jump and carry off the barrel. The right-handed hitter had a solid round with consistent good contact and used the whole field well. 

 

Karsen Dodd (2029 SS, Charlotte, NC) showed some impact off the barrel with feel to lift and drive the ball. The right-handed hitter repeated the swing well and was in-sync with the lower half. 

 

Brayden Schwantz (2029 RHP, Daniel Island, SC) showed some feel to leverage and impact the ball especially to the pull-side gap. The right-handed hitter created hard barrels with good bat speed throughout the round. 

 

Trevor Snyder (2029 1B, Waxhaw, NC) showed some feel to lift the ball to the pull-side and carry on the ball flight. The left-handed hitter created leverage in the swing with loud contact throughout. 

 

Landon Blackard (2029 C, Burlington, NC) created leverage in the lower half and a flat bat plane with solid bat speed to impact the ball to the middle-of-the-field. The left-handed hitter showed flashes of feel to create lift and work under the ball to create backspin. 

 

Joseph Miranda (2029 OF, Villa Rica, GA) created some launch with some juice to the pull-side and the middle-of-the-field. The right-handed hitter used the whole field with lift and loft in the swing with hard line drives throughout. 

 

Tyler Smith (2029 RHP, Augusta, GA) used a direct hand path with solid hand speed to spray line drives to all fields. The right-handed hitter showed some strength at contact for the age with a hard turn and stayed in-sync in swing well. 

 

Mason Pennell (2029 OF, Troutman, NC) flashed the power upside collecting a home run during his round of batting practice. The right-handed hitter showed good strength to the pull-side with a flat bat plane and some whip to the barrel. 

 

Owen Todd (2029 LHP, Southern Pines, NC) showed good bat speed and feel to leverage the ball. The left-handed hitter peppered the pull-side and the middle-of-the-field with hard line drives from a flat bat plane.
