Ethan Pate (2026 RHP, Windermere, FL) was masterful across 4 scoreless innings. He collected 7 strikeouts and allowed 2 infield singles. He showed an exciting 3-pitch mix, including an 83-mph fastball and a late-breaking curveball. He fielded his position well on multiple occasions too.
Hunter Alba (2026 RHP, Ponte Vedra, FL) was brilliant across 4 innings pitched. He accumulated 7 strikeouts and allowed 2 hits. The fastball topped 86 mph and had impressive arm-side run. The curveball had sharp 12-6 action with tight spin. He showed two-way athleticism too, as he scorched an opposite-field triple in his final trip to the plate.
Caleb Brinkley (2027 OF, Saint Johns, FL) flashed his speed today, running a hard 90 to first to beat out an infield single. He then proceeded to time up the pitcher, get an excellent jump, and steal second base. Later in the game, he annihilated a double off of the pull-side wall.
Alan Hernandez Rodriguez (2026 SS, Caguas, PR) ambushed a first-pitch fastball and absolutely roped it. He laced it on a line to the pull-side wall for an RBI Triple, displaying excellent athleticism while hustling around the diamond. He also charged a chopper at third with authority, cleanly and quickly transferring the ball.
Andres Gonzalez (2026 SS, kissimmee, FL) was all over a first-pitch heater, tattooing it deep to the pull-side gap for a double. Intriguing physicality on display by the left-handed slugger. He then swiped third base and came around to score.
Ethan Sanabria (2027 C, Toa Alta, PR) recorded hits in his first two at bats. He pieced one up in his second at bat, driving an RBI Single to centerfield. He also showed out on defense as his team’s catcher, throwing out a runner attempting to steal third base. He collected a third hit in his final at bat.
Maximilian Pliske (2027 1B, Fort Lauderdale, FL) stayed locked in with two strikes and hammered a ground-rule double the pull side. Excellent bat speed on display, as well as athleticism, as he then stole third and came around to score. He took the mound in the 9th inning, topping 84 mph on the fastball and flashing a nasty slider.
Ayden Calmes (2027 SS, Damacor, CU) ran the fastball up to 84 mph and located it well. He also mixed in a curveball and changeup, collecting 4 strikeouts in 2 innings pitched.
Bubba Crouch (2025 C, Yulee, FL) showed some fun stuff on the mound. The fastball peaked at 87 mph and the curveball ran in on lefties. He made quick work of opposing batters.
