2025 PG Sophomore National Showcase (2028 Grads)
Chase Gockenbach is a 2028 3B/RHP/C with a 6-1 195 lb. frame from Morristown, TN who attends Lakeway Christian Academy. Physical and strong young build, pretty mature for his age. Ran a 7.48 60-yard dash. Right handed hitter, even base, upright, strong hands, physical frame, small inward knee lift, strength shows off the barrel when timed, worked through the middle of the field with some carry and jump. Primary third baseman, two hands out front, corner footwork and arm action, developing mover, made the plays. Catcher, high set, not much ground gained, catch and throw mechanics, developing arm, side saddle. Right-handed pitcher, short strider, stiff front leg, firm four seamer, shorter lateral slider, replicates arm speed on the breaking arsenal, inline down the slope with neutral front foot strike, good lines, goes with a slidestep in the stretch, light running action to the change.
