Navy V. Orange Highlights

8/17/2025

Wyatt Peoples (2026 C, Rockwall, TX) hosed two runners in game and showed the big time catch and throw skill. Gains ground and has a strong, accurate arm that popped in game. Handles it well behind there.

Cole Schott (2027 3B, Highland Village, TX) two-way standout worked low-80s with a running fastball with a sweepy low/mid-70s slider that has promising shape and bite. Big time talent to know.

Aiden Travieso (2028 1B, Edmond, OK) lived on the barrel some more with a roped double down the line. Has put together several quality at-bats with wiry strength off his bat and easy looseness through the zone. Battled on the bump during his stint too.

Luis Malachi Perez (2026 SS, Bedford, TX) roped a knock back up the middle. Rangy middle infielder has a short fundamental swing with promising bat-to-ball skill. Looks the part on the dirt defensively.

Alberto Ibarra (2026 3B, Lufkin, TX) physical righty who showed out in relief. Low-80s arm with good life to the fastball from a higher look. Landed his 12-6 hook at will. Quality mix and arm strength.

Michael Morris (2028 SS, Ada, OK) worked into the high-70s and just filled the zone with a two-pitch mix. Has some tempo and easy pitcher-type feel. Battles guys in zone and forced a ton of soft contact.

Nickolas Widmoser (2027 SS, Fairview, TX) showed some good stuff with a heavy mid-80s fastball and dots the slider and curveball off it. Has a running 2-seam option. Drops the slot on the spin and raises on the heat, difficult to pick up. Followed up with a booming double down the line at the plate.

Jake Mayor (2027 2B, Flower Mound, TX) found a solid base knock to cap-off a quality at-bat. Quick hands matched plane very well, has shown some sound defensive skills on the dirt as well.

Andrew Mata (2026 OF, Austin, TX) showing out with the bat once again as he pieced a ball through the right side. The two-way skill set is pretty loud and he has a ton of athleticism in a wiry frame.

Dylan McMahon (2027 1B, Hurst, TX) low-80s in relief from a higher look. Fastball got inside on righties and flashed a 12-6 shaped breaking ball in the low-70s. Very solid arm strength.

Carter Koch (2028 3B, Greenwood, AR) solid low-80s arm with feel to spin and a promising three-pitch mix. Repeats the arm well and it's a bit loose through release. Fills the zone and stood out with the bat too.

Jake Lopez (2027 SS, Broken Arrow, OK) big time skill set and he laced a knock in game. Physical athlete with strength and good bat speed. Hands fire through the zone and has enough base to see it deep and react with good timing.

Tyler DiMasi (2027 3B, Highland Village, TX) has really good arm strength and feel to pitch at this stage. Consistent low-80s with a higher look that plays in on you. Power breaking ball that is short with good depth and bite in the low-70s. Just filled the zone.

Ryan Lamon (2027 SS, Houston, TX) worked into the low-80s and dominated in his short outing. Fastball played down and paired it with a bigger 70-72 mph breaking ball for a mix. Solid on both sides today, can really play.

Drake Walker (2026 LHP, Grapevine, TX) worked into the low-80s from the left side with feel to spin both a curve and slider. Pounded the zone in this look and offers a ton of traits.

Liam Quinlan (2027 OF, McKinney, TX) showed out both sides and shoved on the bump and collected some knocks in the box. He has a very sound lefty swing that stays short to contact. Works to all fields.

Kenneth Brown (2028 OF, Dallas, TX) continues to see it well as he roped another knock. Very good athlete for age, wiry strength in the frame to build upon and can play a bit all over.

Ernesto Flores (2026 2B, Colleyville, TX) found a knock as he's been another two-way standout. Just really good feel for the game on both sides. Big competitor who is one of the first out on the field.

Jaxon Ylda (2028 OF, Wylie, TX) was shutout in relief with a dominant upper-70s fastball that just peppered the zone. Forced a ton of empty swings and showed well on both sides. Added a loud knock back up the middle for a big time barrel.

Korban McKinlay (2027 SS, Auckland, AU) worked quality at-bats all day and found a knock in this one. Has the makings of some good bat speed and a lot of hitterish traits to build upon.

Mason White (2027 C, Arlington, TX) a standout behind the plate with his catch-and-throw ability. Receives it well and simply wants it, caught multiple innings over multiple games.

Orange V. Navy Highlights

8/16/2025

Jack Jacob (2026 LHP, Frisco, TX) big upside lefty with three pitches. 84-86 on the fastball and has feel for breaking ball and slider that both have distinct shape. 6-4 frame, plenty more in store and just went at guys. Six punchies and dominant.

Aiden Travieso (2028 1B, Edmond, OK) very promising arm strength for age upper-70s with a very sharp top to bottom breaking ball that garnered whiff. Very solid feel for both and has a ton of size to project on.

Gavin McPherson (2026 MIF, Lubbock, TX) collected some solid hits on the night and worked to all fields. Solid athlete who grinds at-bats. Took a quality BP and it showed in game.

Owen Harrison (2027 MIF, Tyler, TX) very good athlete who was on the barrel a bit. Flew down the line for a base hit and speed made impact all over. Solid BP translating to game action, as well.

Alberto Ibarra (2026 3B, Lufkin, TX) roped one for extra bags as the strength at impact can really project. He's a physical corner infielder with some feel to hit and get into power.

Green V. Orange Highlights

8/16/2025

Thomas Saenz (2026 RHP, Corpus Christi, TX) dominant and racked up the Ks. potent mid-80s fastball and a hard slider off it. A good running mix of both and the slider really projects with its bite and shape in the 76-78 mph range. Lots to like here and filled the zone.

Kalum Garner (2027 RHP, Decatur, TX) loud outing racked up the punchies. Big 6-3 framed with an interesting, lower look. Low-80s fastball plays armside, but also mixed in a potential cutter. Has a potent slider off it and bigger curve off the mix. Low release and a ton of looks.

Cole Schott (2027 3B, Highland Village, TX) piecing balls hard all day and found some knocks in game. Has legit strength and juice to build upon, simply physical and creates big impact.

Andrew Mata (2026 OF, Austin, TX) big two-way standout. 6.91 runner who pieced a knock with budding arm talent. Up to 82 with good finish to the heat, downhill action and missed bats. Mixed in a good breaking ball too and the athlete can really pop.

2025 PG South Central HS All-State Games BP Highlights

8/16/2025

Josh Blakeman (2028 C, McKinney, TX) very solid feel for the barrel, sprayed it a good bit to all fields and has a loose set of hands that shoot through the zone with impact. Plenty of traits.

James Burchfield (2026 OF, Oak Point, TX) good round all throughout, consistent middle of the field approach and doesn't try to do too much. Sees it deep and lets the hands eat from a balanced swing.

Blair Walker (2027 2B, Mansfield, TX) promising switch hitter and the strength really stood out from the right side. Has lift and strength to the pull side with lofted fly ball contact. Lots to like as he fills out.

Cole Schott (2027 3B, Highland Village, TX) heavy impact off the barrel and the power projects well here. Can get the head out front and sting it to the pull side. Looks to lift and engages the halves.

Mack Slaton (2027 2B, Lufkin, TX) opened eyes in his round and he sprayed it gap to gap and even flirted with some of the bigger parts of the yard. Plenty of hand speed and really stays behind and whips it. Can drive it with authority.

Charlie Wilson (2026 1B, Dallas, TX) big time power upside here, really stays closed and coiled. Power plays to the pull side with some legit carry and impact off it. Flashed his display of that raw pop in his round.

Liam Quinlan (2027 OF, McKinney, TX) really easy swing from the left side and just sprayed it a good bit in his round. Creates space and can impact it to pull but can also take it where it's given and go oppo.

Gavin McPherson (2026 MIF, Lubbock, TX) put together a quality round with his ability to use the entire field. Long, lean frame and controls the levers well. Should only grow into more power.

Owen Harrison (2027 MIF, Tyler, TX) very solid round all together with some deep drives to the middle of the field. Peppered some balls and has some big left-handed bat speed to build upon.
