Dominick Madonna (2019 RHP, Lady Lake, FL) flashed good life with downhill action on his fastball topping at 86 MPH. He effectively changed speeds with a late breaking slider keeping hitters off balance.
Drew Black (2018 SS, Overland Park, KS) consistently filled the zone with a fastball that topped at 85 MPH. He induced weak contact with a late breaking slider and a change up with sink and fade.
Bradley Rowlinson (2019 C, Alpharetta, GA) made consistent hard contact with bat speed. He hammered a hard line drive double to left field in his last at bat.
Christopher Vervoordt (2018 1B, St Cloud, FL) showed excellent bat speed with raw power hammering a double to deep right center field one hopping the fence.
Robert Payton Whitaker (2018 OF, Cocoa Beach, FL) utilized a smooth balanced swing plane creating consistent barrel contact collecting 2 hits.

Shane Kim (2019 RHP, Seoul, ) showed a deceptive delivery and painted corners throughout his three innings with a live fast ball and 11 to 5 curveball with good depth. He allowed only two base runners throughout his outing.
Eli Krakow (2018 SS, Dallas, TX) continued his showcase trend of finding the barrel throughout today’s matchup, showing a compact swing and turning on a high and inside fastball to right field.
Jack McCluskey (2018 OF, Palm Beach, FL) demonstrated his ability to hit the ball to the opposite field with authority, hitting a high fastball tailing away from him to the left-center gap for a triple.
Connor Throneberry (2021 1B, Ellisville, MO) flashed quick wrists, and quality bat speed throughout the entirety of the showcase. In today’s game, he had three hits, two of which were doubles that were squared up and loud.
Emmanuel Arias (2019 SS, Miami Beach, FL) showed very solid game actions at short stop, making a number of difficult plays look routine. He also flashed a mature approach at the plate, staying back nicely on a good, outside curveball to hit a line drive the other way.
Sunday Batting Practice Highlights

Kody Darcy (2018 SS, Kent, WA) The 6-foot-2, 175-pound shortstop consistently produced hard, line drive contact to the middle of the field throughout batting practice on a naturally leverage plane.
Jack McCluskey (2018 OF, Palm Beach, FL) The Palm Beach native aggressively shifted into contact generating solid bat speed through extension on a lifted plane. Flashed the hand quickness to turn the barrel to contact and work to pull side with authority.
Luis Miguel Rodriguez (2018 C, Ponce, PR) The Puerto Rico native showed very good balance at the plate with the ability to manipulate the barrel and worked to all fields with good jump off the barrel.
Brett Steinle (2018 OF, Seven Fields, PA) Produced solid carry to the gaps featuring a linear swing plane with present bat speed through extension. Steinle swing with extreme intent to drive the baseball with authority throughout batting practice.
Connor Throneberry (2021 1B, Ellisville, MO) The 2021 grad showed a very fluid, smooth swing plane with natural leverage through extension. Consistently delivered the barrel to baseball producing hard, loud contact to the pull side gap with solid carry.
Elijah Eusebe (2018 SS, Cutler Bay, FL) Primarily looked to create lift at contact with a very fluid uphill swing plane. Stayed very balanced at the plate with the barrel control to work to all fields as well.
Armani Davis (2019 LHP, Pembroke Pines, FL) Listed as a primary pitcher, but was very impressive at the plate. Davis showed excellent barrel control throughout the hitting zone with the ability to manipulate the barrel and work to all fields with ease.
Christopher Vervoordt (2018 1B, St Cloud, FL) Aggressively shifted into contact with linear lower half actions with a naturally leverage barrel plane through extension. Vervoordt showed very good bat speed with raw power that created very loud, hard contact deep to the pull side gap.
Christian Amlong (2018 OF, Orlando, FL) Consistently repeated a smooth, simple line drive swing plane throughout batting practice. Amlong utilized a high contact approach, consistently driving the baseball to all fields.
Drew Black (2018 SS, Overland Park, KS) Black utilized a loose, extended barrel path with naturally lifted plane through extension. The 2018 shortstop flashed solid bat speed with very good present strength producing loud, hard contact when on time and squared.
Nick Hyde (2019 SS, Mount Pleasant, SC) The South Carolina native looked to turn the barrel to contact on a loose, uphill plane through extension. Flashed solid barrel whip that created good backspin of the barrel with solid carry to each outfield gap.

Caden McClure (2019 RHP, Raleigh, NC) pitched well at 76-81 MPH touching 82 MPH. He didn't allow a hit in 4 innings of work. He gets run on his fastball and threw a 10/4 slurve with some depth. He also collected a hit and RBI at the plate.
Jack (John) McRae (2019 OF, Maitland, FL) pitched at 80-83 MPH with some arm speed. He also had a hit and a stolen base.
Joey Butler II (2018 RHP, Seattle, WA) pitched at 82-86 MPH with his fastball with a live arm. He was aggressive in the strike zone and threw an 11/5 curveball with some depth.
Mavrick Martinez (2019 2B, Houston, TX) swung the bat well collecting 2 hits. He showed good extension in his swing and hit the ball well to the opposite field.
Ryan Vanderhei (2019 RHP, Goodyear, AZ) showed a short stroke to the baseball and stayed inside the ball well on an inside fastball. He barreled the baseball to the left center field gap for a hit.

Nicholas Breckyn Montano (2018 RHP, Goodyear, AZ) pitched at 79-82 MPH and repeated his delivery well. He threw a ton of strikes and changed speeds effectively. Montano threw a late breaking slider at 73 MPH for strikes.
Danny Cunningham (2018 OF, Fort Myers, FL) showed a good approach at the plate with a good swing. He made hard contact with bat speed and made contact to all fields.
Elliot Rodriguez (2018 SS, Plantation, FL) hammered a triple to the left field fence and showed a smooth swing. He was quick on the bases and showed bat speed.
Cole Sass (2018 2B, Commack, NY) showed good actions defensively with soft hands. He showed arm strength across the diamond and was accurate. He also had a hit with a hard ground ball through the hole at short.
Wilmer Martinez (2018 C, Ponce, PR) swung the bat well collecting 2 hits making consistent contact. He showed good catch and throw skills behind the plate and back picked a runner at first base. He also pitched and was up to 82 MPH on the mound.
Brett Mendez (2018 SS, Livingston, NJ) showed smooth actions and short with a strong arm across the diamond. He also made solid contact to left center field with a compact swing.
Griffin Boykin (2019 2B, Jesup, GA) swung the bat well collecting 2 hits making consistent hard contact. He hit a deep double to left field and showed the ability to handle the barrel.

Edrick Morillo (2018 OF, Trujillo Alto, PR) Showed quick hands with the ability to sit back drive the baseball with good jump off the barrel. Singled sharply to right field. Also stole two bases and scored the first run of the game.
Ryan Surin (2018 LHP, Plainfield, IL) The 6-foot-2 left hander worked two scoreless inning while striking out four batters allowing only one hit. Surin features a fastball that flashed some running action to arm side with solid feel for each edge of the plate, topped at 83 miles per hour.
Ethan Shear (2018 LHP, Longwood, FL) The 2018 grad worked three hit less innings while striking out six batters. Shear showed a smooth, repeatable arm action with a fastball offering that had some sinking with run to arm side in the low 80's, topped at 82 miles per hour. Showed good feel while locating an 11/5 curveball that consistently kept hitter off balance.
Derek(DJ) Radtke (2021 1B, Marietta, GA) Pitched at 80-81 miles per hour and consistently filled the strike throughout each inning of work. Showed good deception with a curveball offering that consistently kept hitter off balance.
Zachary Nash (2018 1B, Shalimar, FL) Showed good life through the zone with a fastball that topped at 87 miles per hour with heavy actions. Aggressively attacked the strike zone challenging hitters.
Jorge Baez Roig (2018 OF, Yauco, PR) Swung the bat well showing good control of the barrel throughout the zone. Collected two hits in game play including a hard line drive double to right field.
Ethan Hochhauser (2018 SS, Coral Springs, FL) Showed a balanced repeatable swing plane that created consistent hard contact throughout the day. Collected two hits including a double to right center field.

Ryan Windom (2019 SS, Charleston, SC) went 1-2 in the game today with a triple and a run scored. Windom showed a quick bat and fast hands to turn on a Fastball. Ryan also showed he can move well on the bases.
Sebastian Baca (2018 LHP, Albuquerque, NM) went 1-2 with a double and a RBI in the game today. Baca showed some gap power and the ability to go with the pitch. Sebastian also showed a good patient approach at the plate today.
Braden Massey (2019 RHP, Gulf Breeze, FL) threw 3 innings of no hit ball in the game today while striking out 8, Braden shows good control to both sides of the plate with his Fastball. Massey also showed a good Curveball that he was able to keep down in the zone all outing.
Cole Sass (2018 2B, Commack, NY) threw 2 innings of 2 hit baseball with 2 K's. Sass showed a heavy Fastball that was able to induce multiple groundballs. Cole repeated his delivery and worked quick thoroughout his outing.

Brett Steinle (2018 OF, Seven Fields, PA) collected 2 hits on the game showing bat speed in his swing. He made loud contact on his double to deep left field.
Luis Miguel Rodriguez (2018 C, Ponce, PR) collected 2 hits on the game with a double. He smoked a single down the left field line pulling his hands in nicely on an inside pitch.
Jack Mangene (2019 MIF, Boalsburg, PA) had 2 hits on the game with both hits coming on hard hit balls up the middle. He runs well and showed solid defensive skills at 3B.
Kyle Iarrobino (2018 RHP, Key West, FL) pitched well at 80-85 MPH with his fastball. He pounded the strike zone and threw 3 pitches for strikes. Iarrobino induced a lot of ground ball outs. He also swung the bat well and made hard contact on a double down the right field line. He showed a quick bat and got the barrel there on an inside pitch well.

Konner Stine (2019 1B, Clearwater, FL) was impressive behind the plate blocking the ball well and moving behind the plate. He showed a quick transfer with a strong arm and made accurate throws.

Sam Grace (2018 RHP, Chesterfield, MO) pitched well at 83-86 MPH with his fastball and he got good run on it. He gets good extension and his fastball showed good life to it. He threw a late breaking slider at 76 MPH as well.
Aaron Shiflet (2018 RHP, Mountain Brook, AL) pitched at 80-85 MPH with his fastball touching 87 MPH. He showed control of his fastball to both sides of the plate and it showed some life. He threw a curveball at 70 MPH with depth and sharpness to it.
Brett Jackson (2018 RHP, Langley, BC) pitched at 78-82 MPH with his fastball that has some riding life to it. He threw a change up that showed some sink and good run to it at 75 MPH. He threw a good curveball that was effective when it was down in the zone.
Jack McCluskey (2018 OF, Palm Beach, FL) swung the bat well collecting 2 doubles and 3 RBI. He showed extension in his swing and one of his doubles was hit to deep right field.
