Casey Roberts is a 2019 3B/RHP, 1B, OF with a 6-4 200 lb. frame from Orlando, FL who attends Lake Nona. Large frame with broad shoulders and a strong build. Primary third baseman with aggressive footwork while working to and surrounding the baseball. Clean glove actions while funneling out front with developing fluidity while working through exchange. Released from a compact three-quarters arm slot generating on line carry to the bag, topped at 72 miles per hour. Right handed hitter with an upright, even stance and high back elbow set. Shifts into contact well with linear lower half actions. Loose, extended hand path to contact with a slightly lifted swing plane. Consistently repeated path and plane throughout batting practice showing developing feel to manipulate bat head. Swung with intent and flashed solid bat speed with strength when on time and squared to the middle of the field. Very good student as well.
