Destinee Martinez National Director of Softball Operations
Destinee Martinez is a California Native who went on and played at the University of Oklahoma where she won a National Championship in 2013. Destinee also competed with Team USA for 4 seasons. Martinez went on to work for USA Softball where she learned the ins and outs of the youth sports organization. She began working and managing events at the USA Softball Hall of Fame stadium and about 5 years into her career she took on a position as the Director of Sport Development that focused on enhancing the partnership with Major League Baseball and focused on ways to develop the game at a grassroots level for underserved athletes. Martinez took on a variety of tasks within the organization that led her to pursue her true passion of helping the individual athlete get to the next level of their playing career. Destinee is now the Perfect Game Director of Softball Operations and her goal is to provide a platform for all athletes to be identified and give them a chance to fulfill their life long dreams of playing ball at the collegiate level, but most of all, joining a team of individuals to play the sport you love while earning a college degree.
Jessica Shults National Director of Scouting
Hired as the National Scouting Director of Perfect Game softball. Jessica played for the University of Oklahoma from 2010-2013 where she was a part of winning a National Championship in 2013. After her playing career at Oklahoma, she played professionally for the USSSA Pride in Orlando Florida for three seasons. After her time playing, she returned to get her master’s degree from the University of Oklahoma in Administrative Education where she also helped as a Graduate assistant from 2014-2016. From there she was hired at the Hitting and Catching Coach at the University of Houston where she spent three seasons and help get the team to back-to-back to back regional appearances. Now lives in Sacramento California, where she continues to help youth athletes improve their game to have the opportunity to compete at the next level.

Sam Fischer
Sam Fischer was born and raised in Southern California and played collegiate ball at Loyola Marymount University. In 2012 she was named the first All-American in LMU softball program history. In 2019 she was inducted into the LMU sports Hall of Fame and her jersey number 52 was retired. From college she went on to play for Team USA in 2012, 2014-2016 where she was a member of 2 Silver Medal World Championship teams. In 2016 and 2017 she played for the Akron Racers in the NPF and from there went to play overseas in Japan for the Toda Medics in 2018 and 2019. Most recently Sam has been a corner infielder for a newly developed league, Athletes Unlimited; 2022 will be her 3rd season. Sam is also a member of the league’s softball Player Executive Committee which oversees a wide variety of responsibilities.
Kelsey Arnold
Kelsey Arnold is an Oklahoma Native who played at the University of Oklahoma. She won two National Titles in 2016 and 2017. After graduation, Kelsey remained at the University of Oklahoma and became a Graduated Assistant. While serving as a Graduate Assistant, Oklahoma University won another National Title in 2021. Kelsey thrived in her studies and acquired her master's degree in Human Relations. She has a heart for her community and enjoys supporting youth sports. Kelsey resides in Oklahoma and continues to develop young athletes. It is her hope that these aspiring athletes reach their goals of playing at the next level.

Our scouts are more than just evaluators, they serve as an invaluable resource to prospective student-athletes as they navigate the process from youth softball to college.

Our goal is to provide standardized evaluations, both data driven and certified by experienced and knowledgeable scouts, through Perfect Game Combines and events.
