Luke Eumont is a 2023 LHP with a 6-2 195 lb. frame from Sugar Land, TX who attends Strake Jesuit College Prep. Large frame with some physicality but room to fill out more. Primary left-handed pitcher, only pitched at this event. Uptempo delivery, engages the lower half and back side well in his process down the mound. Quick release and repeats it well, good arm speed to project on and gets slight crossfire through the zone. Good life to the fastball into the low-80s, showed tough against right-handed hitters getting onto the hands. Tight 11-to-5 shaped breaking ball with short depth as a solid go-to secondary offering. Outstanding student. Named to 2021 National Underclass South Top Prospect List.
