2022 Mid-Atlantic Indoor Showcase (Saturday)
Jack Ingino is a 2023 RHP/1B with a 6-2 215 lb. frame from West Chester, PA who attends Westtown School. Medium, stronger looking frame with present lower half strength and some projection remaining. Primary right-handed pitcher that worked from a full windup delivery with a coiled leg lift into balance and good lower half engagement down the slope. Displayed good extension out in front, maintaining arm speed through release. Fastball worked in the mid-80s for the majority of his outing, flashing heavy life through the bottom of the zone and topped out at 87 mph from a high three-quarters arm slot. Showed developing command of the strike zone that will need to improve to expand repertoire. Mixed in two developing secondary offerings with sharp 11-5 breaking ball showing best in this outing. Flashed advanced vertical tilt when thrown with conviction and out in front, while changeup has occasional fade and depth to its shape. Solid overall arm talent with some velocity upside remaining, will continue to improve with proper refinements mechanically and additional command of his three-pitch mix. Excellent Student.
