Louie (LJ) Wolff is a 2023 LHP/OF with a 6-0 150 lb. frame from Glenside, PA who attends Abington. Medium, square shouldered frame with a lean build and room to fill throughout moving forward. Ran a 7.26 60-yard dash. Primary left-handed pitcher, leg lift up to belt, methodical and controlled tempo to delivery with a long arm action through the back working to a three-quarters release point. Lands closed with strike foot and works across body, generates cut action on fastball which topped out at 80 mph, creates some deception and angle at release. Consistent life to the fastball and mixed a curveball at 68 mph, will continue to develop a feel for the pitch moving forward. Fields the ball out front in the outfield, full arm action in the back, works on top of throws and shows quickness to arm, sound footwork and will continue to refine. Right-handed hitter, begins with a wide and slightly open base and a high hand set and back elbow at the plate. Slight bar to hands at start of swing, tends to get onto front side early with weight shift; works on a linear plane to the point of contact, short finish through contact, showed ability to work to all fields.
