2022 Lone Star Showcase
Peyton Dryman is a 2025 C/RHP/IF with a 5-8 145 lb. frame from Saginaw, TX who attends Boswell. Dryman works from a young projectable build with additional room to fill out and add strength in the future. Starting from his primary spot behind the dish, he showcased a slight side saddle set and repeated the footwork well to release quickly and on target. He has time to add arm strength as a '25 prospect, posting a 2.02 pop time. Dryman topped out at 80 mph in the OF with an aggressive approach through the ball and full arm action displayed. On the mound, the righty used a bigger leg lift and high 3/4 slot to pound the zone and record outs with a FB/CB/CH arsenal. The CH effectively killed spin and kept hitters off balance. Offensively, Dryman started from a slightly open stance with a high hand set flashing bat speed through the zone to generate impact to the pull side middle of the field. There is some scissor in the approach with fluidity to the stroke. Ran a 7.42 sixty yard dash. Named to Top Prospect List.
