Lucas Ponce is a 2024 3B/RHP/C with a 5-10 165 lb. frame from Godley, TX who attends Godley. Medium frame with a lean and athletic build. Ran a 6.74 second 60-yard dash. Primary third baseman, good feel on the dirt and a solid mover for a corner guy, good feet and gets it across the diamond well, up to 84 across and adjusts slot when he needs to. Catches too, quick exchanges and short arm stroke, good strength to the bag. Pitches too, simple delivery and stays on top of his stuff well, good use of the lower half and up to 84 with some downhill angle to it, showed good bite on the breaking ball and throws it with good consistency. Right-handed hitter, narrow base and low hand set, works uphill with solid bat speed on a slightly longer path, turns the barrel over well and has some things to work with in terms of the path and under control nature, more strength in there than he showed in BP.
