Clayton Norrell is a 2025 LHP/1B, OF with a 6-1 180 lb. frame from Amarillo, TX who attends Amarillo. Tall lean frame that works exclusively from the stretch. Linear worker down the plane, fluid arm stroke with some looseness to it as a whole, release out of a high three quarters slot. Fastball shows slight arm side run at times. Curveball features steady slurvy break, ultra effective lefty/lefty. Induced a bunch of weak contact with a heathly diet of fastballs. Command was awesome. Great outing. At first base, he shows feel for the spot with loose actions. Quick arm, delivered accurate strikes to both bases. At the plate, he sets up with widespread base working into a simple load. The bat path is direct with feel to make adjustments and get it on the barrel. Turns over frequent pull side line drive with some opposite field gap power to go with it. 7.25 runner. Great student.
