Nick Baltz is a 2021 3B/ with a 5-11 200 lb. frame from Auburn, CA who attends Bear River. He ran a 7.31 second sixty. A primary third baseman with a medium thick build and some present strength in the lower half. On the infield he showed okay footwork with consistent action and an average glove, he does a nice job getting around the ball and is very consistent with the routine play, the arm works high over the top with some pull down and good carry and accuracy across the diamond. Right-handed hitter, starts balanced and does a njic job getting the lower half involved in the swing, he showcased noticeable strength in the hands at the point of contact with a sound bat path and solid impact skills when barreled up. Good student.
