Garrison Gabriel is a 2021 LHP with a 6-2 190 lb. frame from Midland, TX who attends Robert E Lee. Long and lean athletic build with plenty of physical projection remaining, long limbs for his height. Slow paced deliberate delivery, deep arm action in back coming to an over the top release point out front, slow to fast mechanics with some energy at release, tends to fall off to his glove side at release. Fastball topped out at 81 mph with good downhill angle to the plate, gets very good cutting action on his fastball at times, throws his fastball for strikes and got lots of weak ground ball contact on the pitch. Threw a downer curveball as his breaking ball, has good depth and some late biting action. Has an idea how to pitch.
