Aidan Kim is a 2025 C/OF with a 6-1 210 lb. frame from Vienna, VA who attends Bishop O'Connell. Well-proportioned, larger framer with lean muscle throughout and plenty of room to physically mature. Recorded a 7.53 second sixty-yard dash time. Primary catcher that received from a higher, slightly side-saddled stance with a developing catch-and-throw skill set. Gains ground out of the crouch, slightly elongated mid-line transfer and worked into a shorter arm action. Recorded fairly accurate throws up to 71 mph from behind the plate during drills. Secondary outfielder with a fundamentally sound defensive skill set. Active footwork into the fielding process, fields properly off his front foot and maintains momentum into release. Recorded fairly accurate throws up to 84 mph with carry during drills. Right-handed hitter that hits from wider base with bent-knees, lower hand start and small stride into launch. Incorporates rotational lower half mechanics to generate torque, stays short and direct with his hands into impact, and has some strength in his hands. Whole field approach with some feel for the barrel and some gap-to-gap power potential moving forward. Will continue to improve with proper swing adjustments and additional strength. Projectable, young prospect with a fundamentally sound skill set, potential positional versatility and some offensive prowess. Top-of-the line student.
