Joshua Mosley is a 2024 OF/RHP, MIF with a 5-9 152 lb. frame from Haslet, TX who attends V R Eaton. Showed above average speed with a 6.88 second sixty. Primary outfielder with a slender build. Comes and get the the ball in the outfield under control maintaining his momentum into the throws with a clean transfer. Showed solid arm strength topping out at 86 mph with a quick release from a short arm action. Showed good twitch to the actions on the infield ranging well both ways with soft hands and getting the ball out of the quickly. Showed the same athleticism on the mound loading into the back leg well and driving down the mound with good tempo. The arm action works on a long clean track though the back up to a three-quarters arm slot with flashes of arm speed. Fastball sat 82-84 mph with slight arm side run working best to his arm side of the plate. Showed his best breaking ball when he was able to get on top and work though the release with good hand speed landing the pitch at 70-73 mph. Right-handed hitter, starts with an even base using a small leg lift trigger and lower hand load to create separation pre-swing. Bat path works uphill through the hitting zone with developing bat speed and barrel control that will continue to improve with added strength. Excellent student.
