Jake Farish is a 2024 C/3B with a 5-10 150 lb. frame from Houston, TX who attends Cypress Creek. Ran an 8.02-second sixty-yard dash. Primary catcher with a slender frame that has room to fill and add strength. Starts from an even stance behind the plate, replacing the feet well and gaining ground to second base. Has a quick transfer and release, showcasing developing arm strength with throws to second base at 66 miles per hour. Also worked out in the infield, showing developing footwork with a deliberate approach to the ball. Has good glove actions, showcasing similar arm strength with throws across the diamond at 71 miles per hour. Right-handed hitter that starts from a tall and slightly open stance, with leg lift trigger and rotational lower half. Has a clean hand path with a line drive barrel plane, throwing the barrel head out front and executing a middle of the field to pull-side approach. Has developing feel for the barre as well.
