Nathan Cunningham is a 2022 SS/2B, MIF with a 6-2 175 lb. frame from Omaha, NE who attends Elkhorn. Large, athletic frame with square shoulders and a projectable build with room to fill throughout moving forward. Ran a 7.24 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop, gathers well behind the ball and moves well on feet, longer arm action through the back, shows strength and carry across the diamond, works through it well, actions project. Righthanded hitter, begins with an open and upright stance, utilizes a leg kick trigger for timing at the plate. Stays direct to the ball with hands, creates nice bat speed through the zone and creates line drive contact off the bat. Shows strength when squared and on time, occasionally gets around the ball, shows carry to the gaps. Excellent student.
