Keegan Mahoney is a 2023 OF/LHP with a 5-8 170 lb. frame from Arlington, VA who attends Wakefield. Medium frame with a stocky type build showing strength throughout. Ran a 7.46 second sixty yard dash. Primary Outfielder, working into the baseball smoothly with clean routes. Gathers out front as he slows momentum down. Transfers and released with a smooth arm stroke. Up to 78 mph on throws during drills. Secondary Left-Handed Pitcher, working exclusively from the stretch. Higher leg lift to stride as he lands direct to the dish. Easy whip to the arm as he ran the fastball up to 80 mph with arm side run. Secondaries showing as advanced with a curveball in the mid-60's with vertical movements and a fading changeup in the mid-70's. Pitchability present and projects on the mound going forward. Left-Handed Hitter, open to start before working into load and stride. Hands get deep upon separation before firing the bat head through the zone. Naturally lofted cut as he drove it into the gaps showing off the power. Advanced bat on ball skills as he found the barrel often. Great Student.
