Walter Vitovich is a 2023 SS/RHP, 2B, 3B, OF with a 5-10 165 lb. frame from Pittsburgh, PA who attends North Hills. Slight, projectable build. Ran the 60 yard dash in 6.59 seconds. Primary SS that showed soft and smooth hands as well as quick and efficient footwork. His throws across the diamond topped out at 87 MPH and his arm plays above that due to his quick release. With the bat he works out of a narrow, even stance with a leg lift load. Takes aggressive but controlled swings and really utilized his lower half well throughout the stroke. On the mound he worked out of the stretch and got quality extension out front. The FB was 80-85 MPH and showed late arm side run. His breaking ball averaged 69 MPH and showed a lot of depth. Good student.
