Joaquin Santos is a 2026 RHP/OF with a 6-1 165 lb. frame from Marietta, GA who attends Walker. Features a taller/lean build with some projection. Ran a 7.32 60-yd dash. In the OF, showed fundamental footwork to the baseball. Works low to the ground while showing some quickness in his approach. Fields it slightly off to the side where he gets it out of the glove fast allowing for a quick release. Arm worked full/loose to release and got off throws with solid carry flashing some above avg. strength for his level. In the INF, flashed some solid ability. Stays low to the ground and gets square to the ball but showed some stiffness to the glove actions that don't play in rhythm with his feet. Arm showed same traits as in the OF. At the plate, he sits in a taller open stance. He uses a simple forward move as his hands load back and create some quality stretch/coil. His hands throw a direct barrel to the baseball with a a level finish. Showed avg. bat/hand speed and impact with his best results being LDs sent to the RC gap. On the mound, he showed athletic movements. Worked with some pace/tempo to his initial leg lift and move down the mound. Arm is long/loose out the glove and to a higher 3/4 slot. Flashed some quality armspeed. He ran his fastball up to 83, living in the low 80s that showed some downhill action to it. Mixed in a low 70s slider that has some upside with it's above avg. spin and quality 10-4 shape. Also threw a mid-upper 70s CH that he turns over hard on that flashed some quality depth. Was named to the Top Prospects List.
